Instru Dash Mental Records presents "Midst of a Mistake (feat. Chris Parker)"the sophomore single from Singer/Songwriter Michael Bruner. The original song will be available on all streaming platforms March 20th.
The song snapshots a moment during Michael’s journey through China, that brought inspiration to his career as an artist, and still does to date.
The origin of the song can be traced through a series of blog posts Michael wrote on his site leading up to the release.
This original song by Michael, was selected as a semi finalist in the Pop category of the Nashville based International Songwriting Competition. Among others, judges included Adam Lambert, Tom Waits, NE-YO, Sarah Watkins, Portugal. The Man, and Bastille.
The track features polymath Jazz Artist Chris Parker in Trumpet, Tenor Sax, and Flute, plus the addition of the same session musicians of his debut title “Don’t Mean Broken”.
This is the second single release that Michael produced in collaboration with Rodrigo Cotelo.
